Elizabeth is a beneficiary of NRCF and graduated from the program in 2023 after completing her Bachelor of Law from the University of Nairobi and postgraduate law Diploma at Kenya School of Law. Eric Badi
Eric is a beneficiary of NRCF and graduated from the program in 2020, after which he became an active member of the NRCF Alumni Association. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (procurement and supply chain management)and has worked with Digital Divide Data Kenya (DDD) for 8 years as he joined DDD after high school and was in the work-study program. Eric has served as a Client Account Manager / Project Manager since 2020. Eric serves on the Education and Programs Committee as well as the Employment and Entrepreneurship Committee
Palak Kamdar
Palak was elected to the board in December 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration and Finance from the United States International University. She also
holds ACCA accreditation in Accountancy and Finance as well as as marketing accreditation from The Chartered Institute of Marketing
Palak is the Senior Director of Marketing at The Coca-Cola Company -Studio X Africa. Palak brings on board over 15 years of experience in Marketing and advertising-related fields with different companies and is keen on driving NRCF fundraising and marketing through innovative and disruptive initiatives
Responsibilities at NRCF
Role: Local Fundraising and Marketing Committee that assists the NRCF Board in fulfilling its oversight responsibility concerning local fundraising and visibility of the organization. The Committee provides a quarterly review of the local fundraising plan, achievement against a target, and marketing strategy to meet the target of local fundraising set in the budget.
Why he is involved in NRCF
Palak is passionate about creating visibility for companies inorder to get the desired outcome. She wants to ensure the organization is more sustainable in the long run by leveraging her skills and network to build a local fundraising infrastructure that will be self-sufficient and reliant.
Rephan Kitavi
Rephah Kitavi was elected to the board in January 2024. She holds a Master of Science in Finance and Investment and a Bachelor of Arts in Economic and Business Administration from Kenyatta University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant. Rephah has over 15 years in public financial management, human resource management, risk management, internal auditing, and executive management in both the public and private sectors.
Rephah is currently the Director of Corporate Services at Anti-Counterfeit Authority. She also chairs various institutional Committees in the Authority. She has served in governance capacity in various institutions.
Responsibilities at NRCF
Role: She chairs the Employment and Entrepreneurship Committee (EE Committee) which assists the Board in fulfilling its responsibility concerning employment by evaluating the effectiveness of our employment programs (Tech internships, Apprenticeships, Sales training, and Entrepreneurship initiatives) to align with desired employment outcomes. The committee meets once per quarter to review the employment programs and make recommendations for improvement to achieve the 75% employment rate target.
Why she is involved in NRCF
Rephah is passionate about youth empowerment. She wants to ensure the organization achieves its Education and Employment Goals by leveraging the technical training opportunities available for the youth and ensuring the employment programs align with the job market demands.
Paul Dalizu
Paul Dalizu was elected to the board in July 2023. He commands a wealth of experience of almost two decades in leadership, board advisory, people & culture and corporate communication, helping leaders build capacity so that they can make a difference with more impact, influence, and affluence in the market place with his expertise in leadership and governance and fundraising, both in the private and non-profit sectors in 10+ countries. He holds a Masters in Organizational Leadership from International Leadership University and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management from Kenyatta University. He is an accredited
full member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) and a certified human resource practitioner. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Philosophy, leadership, and Governance at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
Paul is an Adjunct lecturer at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology on business, strategy, human resources, and leadership topics. He is also a consultant on talent management performance and reward, learning and development, employee relations, transformation and change management, public speaking, capacity building, and executive leadership coaching, among others, at G-tambue.
