This Privacy Notice describes how we handle, process, and protect your personal data in connection with the recruitment process, whether on a full-time, part-time, consultancy, internship, attachment basis or any other form of engagement. 

What​ ​personal​ data do we process of you?

We are responsible for the processing of the personal data that the Candidates submit through the Google form.

Candidates’ consent

Please note that the candidate(s) consent to the processing of their personal data with the purpose of handling recruitment by us when they submit their application using our Google form.

We may collect the following personal information from you during the recruitment process:

  • Identity information that allows us to identify you – name, title, date of birth, passport photo, gender, and marital status
  • Basic contact information – Name, email address, phone number, and postal address;
  • Professional information – references, work history, education, qualifications, skills, certifications and due diligence background checks;
  • Social media profile information, if you choose to provide us with a link to your profile page;
  • Financial information that facilitates us to pay you should you be engaged at NRCF – bank account details, tax details, NHIF, NSSF, etc.; and
  • Other information – Any other information you voluntarily provide, such as salary expectations, or career goals.

Why do we process your ​personal​ data?

We use the personal information collected from you for the following purposes:-

  1. Evaluate your suitability for the position you applied for.
  2. Contact you regarding your application, such as scheduling interviews or requesting additional information.
  3. Conduct background checks if applicable and with your consent.
  4. Conduct statistical analyses and create reports about our recruitment process and improve our recruitment practices.

How long will we keep your information?

If you’re not offered a position, we might keep your application for 12 months for record-keeping or legal reasons, unless you give us consent to keep it longer. After that, we’ll securely delete it. If you get the job, we’ll add your application information to your employee file and keep it for the duration of your employment and seven (7) years after you leave.
