They helped with school fees, offered guidance, and gave him space to grow his hockey skills. With this support, Beres began to shine.He has always performed well in his studies. Recently, he made headlines in sports when he played like a pro during a hockey competition. Thanks to his skill and determination, his team qualified to represent their school at the national championships in Mombasa County.

This achievement brings Beres one step closer to his dream of becoming a professional hockey coach.Beres’s journey shows what is possible when talent meets opportunity. Nicole aspires to study medicine and become a successful doctor who gives back to her community. At school, she consistently performs well across all her subjects. Her dedication and ability to support others also earned her the role of class prefect. In this leadership position, she represents her classmates and helps resolve school matters.

At NRCF, we continue to provide education that empowers success. Our goal is to help every student build a better future for themselves and their families. We work to ensure they break the cycle of poverty and become positive changemakers in their communities.

NRCF Empowering our students beyond classroom

Empowering our students doesn’t stop when schools close.During this August break, our high school students have been actively engaged in educational programs that help them grow their mindset and make good use of their free time.

Our programs target mathematics tuition designed to strengthen students understanding and boost academic performance. The goal is to make school breaks productive.

Beyond academics, we also focus on lifelong knowledge. These lessons give students the ability to make informed decisions. One important topic has been sex education. Students have learned about safe practices for those who are already sexually active, as well as where to access contraceptives responsibly.

As our students head back to school, we trust they will carry these lessons with them. At Ngong Road Children’s Foundation, we remain dedicated to empowering them and supporting their journey toward a brighter, healthier future.
