Office Move
NRCF has moved its offices from santack estate to Dagorreti Corner next to the City Council field on the Covenant guest house road. The current location offers a substantial amount of space for the growth of the organization and a plan to set a students resource center that is currently on a plan.
Proposed Elimu Hub Student-Alumni Center
The move to the new office offered an opportunity to initiate a resource center,ELIMU HUB, a new educational facility centered on students and alumni in the program and Dagoretti slum where our students live. Elimu Hub will be the center of learning activities, resources, and community. It will be home to:
- A new and expanded Library
- A more spacious Computer Lab
- An internet hotspot to serve common and meeting areas
- Office space for librarian and Computer Lab volunteers and staff
Activities of the month
- Class 8 and Form4 graduates hand over to secondary and post-secondary departments respectively.
- Life skills training for the 2020/2021 class 8 and form 4 graduates
- Career talks and guidance for Post-secondary class of 2020/2021
- Basic computer training for the Post-secondary class of 2020/21
