Elizabeth was orphaned when she was a child and raised by her aunt and uncle. Her aunt taught elementary education at the school Elizabeth attended. Elizabeth graduated from high school in 2015, having always been towards the top of her class. She has been studying law at Nairobi University since then, and today we honor her as our first female graduate with a bachelor’s degree in law with a second class (Upper Division).
