Ngong Road Children’s Foundation operates under four principles. One of our principles is leverage where we partner with corporates and community to achieve our mission.
The Safaricom Foundation, through its Ndoto Zetu initiative, donated computers to NRCF to support students’ education. This has equipped the Elimu Hub lab and enabled TechMates and coding bootcamp participants to enhance their skills.
Safaricom offers business dedicated internet to virtually anywhere in Kenya with fast deployment time. They have been our internet service provider since 2024 and as part of their CSR, they have increased internet capacity for us at a lower rate.
Bimeda is a global manufacturer and distributor of veterinary pharmaceuticals and animal health products. Six children are fully sponsored by Bimeda. Several volunteers from Bimeda are deeply involved with our program including Chris Adams (wife of the Managing Director of Bimeda) who is volunteering for the next three years with Ngong Road Children’s Foundation.
It is one of Kenya’s premier suppliers of building &interior finishing products. This company has supported our annual summer camp by providing dry foods for feeding the children at camp.
They are based in Nairobi, Kenya, specializes in the manufacture & marketing of personal care, tissue, & hygiene products. They have been a partner of the Ngong Road Children’s Foundation since its inception by donating products to the program and its families. They have also donated towards our annual Christmas family’s food aid appeal.
Karibu Loo is a portable toilet rental business that offers high-quality portable toilets for short-term and long-term sanitation needs in Nairobi. All profits from this sanitation business go to fund education and support for children in the slum of Dagoretti through the auspices of the Ngong Road Children’s Foundation.
We are a social mission partner of Digital Divide Data. Since the beginning of 2013, some of our secondary school graduates have become candidates for their program which provides both employment and support for online learning at universities.
NRCF provides basic health care support to the children in the program. We are partnering with these health facilities where they treat our children and bill us.
NRCF is also partnering with Equity Afia to provide basic health care support to the children in the program. Students get treated and we’re billed at the end of each month.
It funded a blockchain lab that is within our office spaces. The lab has supercomputers that our Tech graduates access during mentorship on web development and blockchain by Lido Nation.
